"When I was in high school, I brought dad's old Martin to Kamaka Ukulele for some fixing. Uncle Chris and Uncle Casey took it, and me in without any hesitation. Since then, they've supplied me with tools to enact my music, and provided the support of making me a part of their musical family. It's this compassion; reflected in their work and patience that makes me proud to play their instruments."
Peter Wook Moon is an 'ukulele player, and a fortunate recipient of the music and love passed on from his father, uncles, and friends. Taken from learning from his dad in the living room, to the stage by Uncle Cyril Pahinui, he now enjoys teaching and subsequently being taught by the children of Waimanalo and Hilo.
